You can take it a step further and look through the “services” list but many of theses are required to run windows and should not be adjusted unless you know exactly what they are. There are a few other reasons why your computer is running slow like spyware/virus infections but always try the software route before you upgrade your hardware it could save you a lot of money. If your problem persists then give us a call or follow the spyware/virus removal to rule that out.

Hiding) to free up resources And to do this we need to use a tool called “msconfig”. First click start,
click run, and type in “msconfig” (without the quote marks) then press ok. This will bring up a box
similar to slide 2 (this is windows 7 but it will look roughly the same). Click the startup tab and look
