If you have accidentally deleted something, hopefully it still resides in the recycle bin which can be accessed via the desktop or my computer in the start menu, you can then right click and recover it from there. If it is not in the recycle bin then there are free programs to recover deleted data, one I have had success with is called free undelete which can be downloaded for free just follow the instructions on the web site. If you still can’t recover the data then we have specialist software which can but it can also take a few days or even weeks on damaged hard drives, give us a call and we can see what can be done. If you have recently lost some important data then one of my favourite phrase comes into play, the only mistake is the one you make twice! It’s time to backup your data so you never have the torture of missing family photos and documents again. Backing up your data can cost as little as £8.99 for a 2gb flash stick and a quick download of Always sync to keep it up to date, Always sync can be set to automatically update the stick when it is connected and its free to use, below a certain amount of data. If you have a lot of data or a lot of family members who do, you know the four million music tracks your children have and such like then maybe an external hard drive is in order which could give you over 500gb of space for under £100, you could even connect it to your wireless router and transfer your data to it wirelessly. There are literally hundreds of options for backup, even over the internet to your anti virus company, iCloud or third party company's like google docs and the like, but the basic principle remains the same, have it in two or more places and you will be safe.
If your PC/Laptop won’t boot or says it has a missing HDD, if your current backup or storage device is not working the data may still recoverable.
